My Knowing the Numbers series ended with two resolutions for Essential Solution clients to strive for during 2015:
- 100 “Likes” on their Facebook Business Page and
- 5 Five-Star Reviews on both their Facebook and Google + Pages
Because achieving these goals is very important to your social media marketing success, you may wonder, “How can I get started?”
My recommendation? Get engaged!
Engaging with Your Social Media Fan Base
According to a blog post published through Social Media Examiner, “Engaging with your audience is a crucial aspect of becoming a social media influencer.”
With blogs automatically sharing daily to your various social media platforms, you may think you are good-to-go. However, have you noticed anyone commenting in response to or “liking” your blog posts? If so, try to respond back to that person right away. A simple, “Thank you!” or even “liking” their comment goes a long way.
If you aren’t experiencing as much feedback on your daily blogs or the articles you post, try incorporating a question into the text of your post. Not only will the question get your readers thinking about Estate or Elder Law planning subjects, but it will act as an invitation for them to interact with your company – building brand awareness!
Another fun way to develop engagement with you viewers is through photos. Post photos of your staff out in the community volunteering. Post photos with an uplifting message and tell your clients, “Thank You!” for their trust and support over the years. It does not even have to be industry related, necessarily: Ask followers of your page to submit recipes or photos of food they suggest to stay warm during the winter.
Take note of the types of posts that get the most attention on your page and continue posting similar content. If your Monday morning inspirational quote gets 50 “likes,” try turning that into a weekly routine that you can share to connect with your audience.
