March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
Okay, I’ll admit it.
As a child, I only liked this phrase because my twin’s favorite animal was a lion and mine was—you guessed it—a lamb. However, as I have grown older, I have come to appreciate the truth in this statement.
In Kansas, the weather is unpredictable. Rain, snow, ice and hail come with little warning. Fortunately, with the benefit of radar technology and the work of meteorologists and climatologists, we can get a pretty decent idea of weather patterns and then make necessary preparations.
The digital realm of marketing used to be just as unpredictable as the Kansas weather.
Business owners couldn’t tell when people were coming or going from their website or who these people were. One could only tell when there was a flood (or a drought) of clients but could not trace their reason for visiting to any particular cause.
The E2 CRM tracking functions much like today’s advanced radars, thermometers and sensory equipment available to meteorologists—but for marketing.
By tracking who is going where and when, you can begin to more accurately evaluate your website and recognize patterns. For example, if people are visiting the “about” section of your site, perhaps you need to prioritize shooting quality video for that page, introducing yourself and telling your story.
What if a prospect (who is already a contact in your CRM) reads your content about Special Needs Trusts? How powerful would it be to add a video on Special Needs Trusts and then follow with an automatically-generated drip marketing campaign that sends the prospect relevant information to educate them and motivate them to contact you for a consultation?
With the E2 CRM, you will know the digital trends on your website so you can tame that marketing lion into a docile, profitable lamb.
